Yesterday morning I was listening to the radio while I was straightening my hair (let’s not forget I’m from New Jersey — we do not leave the house without an obigatory flat ironing), and the dj was interviewing Gary Busey who I understand is on this season of The Celebrity Apprentice (?). After a few questions about the show and his career, the dj asked him if he would like to comment on Charlie Sheen.
Busey was positively lovely! He said that he had known Charlie since he was fifteen years old, and had worked with his father many years ago. He said that he thought Charlie was very sick, and that he hoped he realized that there were a lot of people holding out their hands for him for whenever he was ready to take one.
Then the dj thanked him for the interview, and told him to send his love to Stephanie (his baby mama). Busey got really excited and told the dj to hold on (on live radio) while he yelled to Stephanie that “they were sending their love from New York.” It was downright…sweet! Stephanie, whoever she is, was really excited!
So, that’s all. I just wanted you guys to know that Gary Busey is just a really nice guy.
